Join us for a 36-hour student hackathon, proudly brought to you by The University of Adelaide Computer Science Club and the UniSA Programming Community! Working in teams of 3-4 people, this is a ideal opportunity to showcase your skills and innovation while collaborating in a team.
Hackathons are about more than just code. They’re about creativity, teamwork, and pushing yourself to turn an idea into something real in a short amount of time. Whether you’re here to sharpen your technical skills, meet new people, or have fun, this event is your opportunity to learn and create alongside other passionate students.
Remember: you don’t need to be an expert. What matters most is your curiosity, your willingness to experiment, and your drive to collaborate.
Good luck out there and may the best team win!
Requirements
In addition to details about your project and how you built it, you must also include the following:
- A list of all third-party material and APIs, including anything that was purchased. This also includes any AI/ML tools that you used.
- A public link to your code repository.
- Images of your project.
- A video that includes your pitch and demonstrates your project in action.
Your video and repository links MUST be accessible during the judging period.
While hosting your project publicly is not required for judging (and there is no penalty if you don't), we strongly encourage it, as it allows others to easily explore and test projects created by other teams. Feel free to leave it up just for the judging period or keep it up afterwards. However, if public hosting isn’t feasible, for example, due to costs such as AI credits, that’s completely fine.
Please complete all the required fields in your Devpost submission. This information helps the judges evaluate your project efficiently, allowing you to focus on the most important part: your pitch.
VIDEO
As part of your submission, you are required to submit a video of your project. This video will be considered as your pitch to the judges and must:
- be a maximum of three minutes
- include a demonstration of your project (i.e. it cannot just be a voiceover with slides)
If your video happens to be longer than the maximum time, judges will stop watching your video after the first three minutes.
We also strongly encourage you to keep the video up after the event. This will help us with marketing and promotion of future hackathons
