All participants must follow the following rules when participating in this event. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, please raise them with an organiser.
1. ELIGIBILITY

Teams must consist of three to four people. Teams with fewer than the required number will be asked to merge.

Each member of a team must be 15 years or older, and be either:
- a university student currently studying at the University of Adelaide

a university student currently studying at the University of South Australia
- a high school student currently attending a school in Adelaide

2. PROJECT

Teams have 34 hours to build a prototype. There are no restrictions on the project format, choice of programming languages, or the devices you use.

Fresh code only: All projects must be started during the hackathon. You are welcome to use libraries, frameworks, and pre-existing assets to help build your project.

All project code must be published in a repository that is publicly accessible. You must provide this link as part of your submission. Any part of your submission must be up for at least the entire length of the judging process.

Any third-party materials used must be legally licensed and available to the public to download or buy. You may purchase materials, tools and equipment for the competition, but at your own expense. You must list all third-party materials and APIs, including anything that was purchased, as part of your submission.

3. SAFETY

- Follow the rules: Abide by the University of Adelaide Code of Conduct and the CS Club Constitution.
- Act appropriately: Behave responsibly and respectfully toward all participants, organisers, sponsors, and guests.
- Comply with organisers: If an organiser asks you to stop, you must comply immediately.
- Consequences: Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in actions deemed appropriate by the organisers, which may include notifying authorities if necessary.
4. BREACHES

The Organisers reserve the right to ask teams to present their code for review if they suspect their project breaches the Competition Rules.

A breach of the Competition Rules will result in you and/or your team being disqualified from the competition. This may also include you and/or your team being removed from the venue.

Repeated breaches or a serious breach may result in you and/or your team being banned from competing in any future competitions by the University of Adelaide Computer Science Club.
